Queensland Summit Outcomes 2009
Community Climate Network Queensland (CCNQ)
On 25th and 26th July, over 50 people representing groups from across Queensland and northern New South Wales, came together at the University of Queensland for the second grassroots climate action summit in Qld. The summit aimed to bring together Climate Action Groups, community organisations and passionate individuals working on climate change to build a stronger grassroots climate network and plan for strategic action in the year ahead.
The summit took place on the lands of the Turrabul and Jaggera peoples and commenced with a Welcome to Country by Maroochy Barambah, Turrbal traditional owner.
